TRAINING OUR YOUNGEST DISCIPLES
Alcoa Maryville Kids was created to train our youngest disciples on the foundation of God's Word. We accomplish this by providing small groups for each age group. Our children's ministry operates as a VBS rotating-style ministry on Sunday mornings. We begin with all ages 2 and up gathering for a Large Group in Room 5, followed by a rotating schedule of appropriate activities for each group.
Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. At Alcoa Maryville Church of God, we have a nursery available for your little ones ages 6 weeks to 2 years old. You are welcome to stay with your child or leave them with one of our nursery workers. The nursery is open Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m. for the main service.
Our TOTS small group is an energy-filled group for our 2 to 3-year-olds. We offer age-appropriate activities during our morning rotations that accompany the day's lesson and a snack and playtime with friends. Depending on numbers, sometimes our TOTS class is combined with our Pre-K class.
Our Pre-K small group is available for children ages 4 to 5 years old. Kids will love the crafts, games, and lessons designed for them during our morning rotations.
We offer two different small groups for our elementary-age students. We provide a K-2nd grade group and a 3rd-5th grade group. During our morning rotations, these groups also enjoy games, crafts, and activities that make learning God's Word exciting!
