Join us for morning worship on Sunday, January 11, as Dr. William Lamb challenges us with the Word. His bio is shared with you below:
Dr. William Lamb is in his twenty-first year as a member of the administrative staff at Lee University (Cleveland, Tennessee) where he leads a diverse and global “service-learning” program and forges strategic partnerships. He is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and volunteered for 16 years as an emergency services chaplain. Lamb holds a BA in religious studies, an MA in Youth and Family Ministry, and a PhD in Organizational Leadership. He served two terms as a member of the Tennessee Governors Commission on Volunteerism and Service.
In his early years between the Marine Corps and joining the Lee University team, Lamb was a school bus driver and business owner in rural Tennessee. His work with need-based students positioned him to impact chaos. His effective and relevant speeches challenge listeners to step into the chaos around them, bringing order and clarity. His storytelling style is applicable across a variety of cultures, organizations, and sectors. He is easy to understand and knowledgeable in his field of leadership, education, and community.
Dr. Lamb is skilled in helping others look for the not-so-obvious—a tool for equipping thought leaders to identify deficiencies within organizational systems. Then, he motivates leaders and followers to identify and apply solutions necessary to bring change.
