DAY 1- Monday, September 16

Depart Alcoa Maryville Church of God at 6:30 a.m.

It's mid-summer and time to get away for a nice five-day tour that offers a lot of pretty places and entertainment. Tennessee and the Blue Grass State of Kentucky will provide the scenery for this day. After meeting the groups and having lunch in the Florence area, we will pass through the Buckeye state of Ohio before reaching Berlin for the night. We will visit the Amish Farmers Market and the Cheese Shop before arriving at our overnight stop, The Berlin Grand. This is a wonderful place to stay; you will most likely have a suite. Next door is a nice Amish restaurant you might want to visit for dinner, or downtown is a short walk from our hotel.  Breakfast is included the next morning.

DAY 2- Tuesday, September 17

This morning, we are off to PA Dutch Country, spending two nights here in Lancaster, PA.  We will get a wonderful Amish Dinner one of the nights and a continental breakfast each morning.  Our day will include sightseeing, entertainment, and shopping. Also, pay a visit to Sam's Amish Farm and Kitchen Kettle!

DAY 3- Wednesday, September 18

Today, we will experience Sight and Sound Theater as a professional cast presents “Daniel” on a 300-foot wrap-around stage. There are spectacular sets up to 40 feet high, a variety of animals are also part of the show. We go back in time and witness one of the greatest stories of the Bible as it comes to life right before our eyes!

“Taken from his people, Daniel is exiled far from home in the powerful kingdom of Babylon. Now this faithful servant must navigate his new life inside a palace filled with golden statues and shifting empires. As royal pressures mount, Daniel is faced with a dangerous choice. Will his trust in the one true God remain steadfast through every test of faith?

From the fiery furnace to the infamous den of lions, DANIEL is a spectacular theatrical experience for the whole family. Witness one of the Bible’s most hope-filled stories as it comes to life in this brand-new original stage production from Sight & Sound Theatres®.”

DAY 4- Thursday, September 19

Today starts with a nice ride through Pennsylvania countryside to Gettysburg. This is the location of the historic 3-day Civil War battle that took place here in July of 1863. It is believed that 51.000 lost their lives here for what they thought best for our country. In our orientation tour, we hopefully will make stops at the Tennessee Monument, Eternal Flame Monument and Little Round Top. It's a good bet you will remember this attraction for a long time. We will spend our last night in the Gettysburg area with breakfast included.

DAY 5- Friday, September 20

Well, time has come on the fifth day to pack up and head south for the Volunteer State. Most people living in Virginia think that today's ride through the Shenandoah Valley is the most scenic trip in America. I know that is debatable but it is truly nice. We'll find lunch in the Roanoke and I hope everyone has many photographs to capture the memories of the past few days.
