A BLOUNT COUNTY CELEBRATION Faith & Family, God & Country, 250th Anniversary, United States of America,1776-2026  Heritage High School Sunday, June 28th 6:30PM Come and join us for this momentous celebration, as we sing patriotic songs of liberty, along with inspirational songs, birthed under the freedom of worship that was bought for such a price over the past 250 years. Featuring the Heritage High School JROTC Color Guard, the Heritage High School Choir, under the direction of Tyler Owens, and Pastor John Lowe as Master of Ceremonies. Special guests will include Pastor Tony Collins, BROADWAY BAPTIST CHURCH, BLOUNT COUNTY Mayor Ed Mitchell, and Pastor Ronnie Hepperly, RIO TOWNSEND SMOKY MOUNTAIN CHURCH. The BLOUNT COUNTY Fire Protection District will have a Ladder Truck with "Old Glory" at the entrance as you drive in. 250TH Anniversary T-Shirts will be available to purchase at the event. Also, we need volunteers to help with parking, etc. We will be honoring our Veterans and First Responders.
