Sunday School starts at 9:30 a.m. and is a time kids look forward to each week! We kick things off with a fun and engaging video lesson that brings Bible stories to life in a way kids can easily understand. After the lesson, children enjoy time to fellowship with friends—talking, laughing, and connecting as they learn and grow together. It’s a relaxed, meaningful part of the morning that helps kids build friendships and grow in their faith. At 10:30 a.m., we transition into our Sunday morning Kids Service.

Sunday School is available for ages three and up.

At Alcoa Maryville Church of God, we have a nursery available for your little ones ages 6 weeks to 3 years old. You are welcome to stay with your child or leave them with one of our nursery workers. The nursery is open Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m. for the main service.

Our Pre-K Sunday morning service starts at 10:30 a.m. with a fun Large Group time filled with simple worship songs, interactive Bible stories, and lots of smiles. Children then move through hands-on rotations featuring playful games, creative crafts, age-appropriate Bible activities, and cozy small-group time. Each moment is designed to help little ones learn about God in a way that’s engaging, gentle, and perfectly suited for their age.

Sunday mornings begin right after Sunday School at 10:30 a.m. with Large Group, where kids come together for worship and engaging Bible teaching. Afterward, they move into Small Group rotations that include fun games, hands-on crafts, meaningful Bible activities, and age-appropriate small group time. It’s a morning designed to help every child grow in faith, build friendships, and discover God’s love in a way that’s both fun and impactful.
